The ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) has successfully organized a series of Academic Membership Program Launch Events that connected representatives from diverse sectors, fostering a shared commitment to enhancing education through technology. These events were strategically conducted in three regions, allowing member institutions to interact face-to-face and explore collaborative possibilities. This approach facilitated rich discussions and networking opportunities among like-minded individuals, ensuring a comprehensive exchange of ideas. Institutions start with Regular Membership and can advance to Premium Membership after a year of active participation, unlocking extra benefits and opportunities.

Diverse regions, unified purpose
Enthusiastic participation marked these launch events, each of its unique flavors. The southern event, held on August 16 at Travancore Hall, Thiruvananthapuram, set the tone for collaboration with 83 academic institutions and 121 attendees. Mr. Sanjeev Nair, the CEO of Technopark gave the keynote address which further enriched the discourse. The central event held on August 17 at Infopark, Thrissur, garnered participation from 55 institutions and 104 attendees from the central region.
The crescendo of the series came with 67 institutions and 125 participants at the northern event on August 18 at UL CyberPark, Kozhikode. This final event showcased the impressive geographic outreach of ICTAK’s initiative, spanning the entire state. The spirit of unity and shared purpose was noticeable, reinforcing that education knows no boundaries.

An enriching confluence
The main focus of these events was the distribution of Membership Certificates to attendees and the insightful addresses by Mr. Santhosh Kurup, the CEO of ICTAK. Associates of ICT Academy Dr. Deepa V.T. (Regional Manager, South), Mr. Sajan M. (Head of Academic OU), and Mr. Sinjith S. (Regional Manager, Central) decorated the event with their impactful words.

The engaging discussions, networking sessions, and knowledge-sharing laid the groundwork for future collaborations among representatives from institutions. Mr. Sanju, Professor at St. Joseph’s Engineering and Technology College, Palai, highlighted that the association with ICT helped associations with companies like Google Clouds, UI Path, Oracle Academy, Salesforce, etc. They have also received more than six hundred offers and placements with the support of ICT. Principal and professor of Sree Ayyappa College of Arts and Science, Chengannur, Dr. Suresh, pointed out that ICT Academy helped their undergraduate and engineering students to further their careers in different spectrums.
As this event series concluded, ICTAK stands by its success. The spirit, passion, and commitment witnessed during these events augur well for Kerala’s education future. With a solid foundation laid, member institutions embark on a year of exploration, growth, and collaboration, fostering a robust educational community in the years to come.
