ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) is known to have a strong linkage with the academic institutions in the state. Intending to connect and have a good relationship with the higher educational institutions in the state, ICTAK is organizing Academic Meetup events in the coming week. The programs will take place at Kozhikode (Multipurpose Hall, UL CyberPark), Kochi (Hotel Elite Palazzo, Angamaly), and Thiruvananthapuram (Hycinth Hotels, Thampanoor) on 2022 May 23, 24, and 26 respectively. 

These meetup events aim to brief the higher educational institutions about the activities of ICTAK, introduce various skill development initiatives done for empowering the students/faculties, and explain ways to collaborate with us. The program also focuses on discussing topics related to the trends in the industry, the value proposition for academia, new initiatives in government, and the experience of working with ICTAK.

Topics of Discussion

The meetup will discuss in detail the trends in the industry, the value proposition for academia, the new initiatives in government, and will elaborate on the experience of working with ICTAK. The program will start at ten in the morning on the scheduled dates, and various higher educational institutions, including Polytechnic, Management, Engineering, Arts, and Science colleges, are invited. The program will conclude with a networking lunch.

By connecting diverse schemes, scholarships, and partnership programs from the government and corporate stakeholders, this unit leverages the opportunities of students and faculties in areas of skilling, employment, and entrepreneurship.
