The <\/span>Academic Operations Unit<\/span><\/a> of the ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) is organising its Premium Membership campaign for the higher educational institutions of Kerala in the academic year 2022-23. This initiative aims to provide the bright students of various academic institutions with the opportunities to obtain a gainful career. ICTAK is forming this Premium Membership Program with selected engineering, management, science institutions, polytechnic colleges, and ITIs in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

The institutions will be selected based on a set of criteria, through an online application form from the interested colleges. The submissions will be scrutinized by the ICTAK administration office and, if required, will interact with the applying institutions for obtaining clarifications. Selected institutions will be provided with a one-year membership and there will be no financial commitment for the Premium Membership.<\/span><\/p>\n

To brief the higher educational institutions about the activities of ICTAK, <\/span>Academia Meetup events<\/span><\/a> at Kozhikode, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram were organised last month. The program also discussed topics related to the trends in the industry, the value proposition for academia, new initiatives in government, and the experience of working with ICTAK.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Premium Membership Selection Criteria<\/span><\/h1>\n

    The following key performance indicators of an institution are considered for Premium Membership.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Pass percentage of the institution<\/span><\/li>\n
    • % of teachers with PhDs and specialization<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Maximum capacity of the biggest lab<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Dedicated bandwidth of the biggest computer lab<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Institution’s accreditation and its current status<\/span><\/li>\n
