NORKA Roots and the ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) are collaborating once again to offer career-oriented courses in advanced technology in this new era of the industrial revolution. This new venture will benefit a variety of job seekers, including 2022 graduates, graduates, final-year post-graduate students, and professionals looking for a career change. Through the NORKA Roots scholarship program, the ICT Academy is offering <\/span>five six-month job-oriented courses<\/span><\/a>. Certified Specialist Programs in Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, Full Stack Development (MERN), Software Testing, Data Science & Analytics, and Cyber Security Analyst’ are among the courses available. NORKA Roots will cover 75% of the course fee as a scholarship based on performance on the entrance exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to apply?<\/span><\/h1>\n

The registration portal has been open on the official website of the ICT Academy of Kerala since August 10, 2022. The <\/span>online form<\/span><\/a> can be used to register. The application deadline is September 10, 2022, and the applicant’s age limit is 45. The selection procedure<\/span><\/h1>\n

The sole criterion for admission to these programs will be an entrance test. It will be a general aptitude test which will test the candidates\u2019 numerical, logical, and verbal aptitude. In addition, there will be questions about data manipulation, programming logic, and computer fundamentals.<\/span><\/p>\n

ICTAK intends to aid candidates in finding jobs in a global space and thereby help in their migration. For this sake, questions have been added from international affairs too. Classes will begin in the first week of October for those who get qualified.<\/span><\/p>\n

Courses offered<\/span><\/h1>\n

Following are the courses offered under this scheme. These are specialized Long-Term Training programs on advanced technology skills, delivered in a hybrid model of self-paced and instructor-led approach. The learning phase will last for the first four months, followed by a project-driven fifth month and a practical internship with TCSiON in the final month.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Certified Specialist in Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence<\/span><\/a> provides the learners with a firm awareness of ML\/AI technologies and their applications. This course will cover the basic concepts, tools, and techniques of ML\/AI.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through <\/span>Certified Specialist in Full Stack Development (MERN)<\/span><\/a> learners will gain relevant skills and be able to seize opportunities in the field of IT or business organizations (such as Information Technology, Banking, Financial Services, and Retail) that use such technologies by enrolling in this program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Certified Specialist in Software Testing<\/span><\/a> course covers the basics of software testing to the industry-relevant tools used for verifying and validating functional and non-functional requirements of a software product.<\/span><\/p>\n

By taking the <\/span>Certified Specialist in Data Science & Analytics<\/span><\/a> program, students will gain the necessary skills to pursue opportunities in IT or business organizations that use such technologies (such as Information Technology, Banking, Financial Services, and Retail).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Certified Specialist in Cyber Security Analyst<\/span><\/a> course will introduce students to Cyber Security Fundamentals and Careers in Cyber Security to understand the real-world cybersecurity challenges that organizations face today. Students will learn to apply this knowledge and gain skills to address them. This course focuses on hands-on activities, and students are encouraged to participate in public and industry cyber security challenges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Delivery and benefits<\/span><\/h1>\n

The classes, expert sessions, assessments, and final exams will be in online mode. The monthly Bootcamp will be in hybrid mode (both online and offline) at our offices in Technopark (T\u2019puram), Infopark (Kochi), and Cyberpark (Kozhikode).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ICT Academy will provide access to LinkedIn Learning to participants for six months as part of their coursework. It allows them to take additional courses relating to their field of study. Communication and employability training will equip them for the job market. The 125-hour virtual internship with TCSiON that ICT Academy offers following the course’s final test is yet another salient feature.<\/span><\/p>\n

ICT Academy has partnerships with major domestic and international IT firms, which will aid in the placements of qualified candidates. Additionally, ICT Academy will work with NORKA Roots to locate employment in cutting-edge technologies globally.
